Shared Governance is an integral part of nursing professional practice in Magnet facilities. Studies have demonstrated numerous advantages of Shared Governance at the organizational and staff levels. Explore the history of its development, learn the benefits of Shared Governance and how to assess the level of Shared Governance within your organization. Nursing leadership, managers and staff nurses will gain knowledge and skills needed to institute and support Shared Governance at all levels of the organization.
