Our consultation services provide healthcare organizations with assessments, guidance, and educational services in support of the journey to nursing excellence including Magnet® recognition, Pathway to Excellence®, and accreditation of continuing nursing education. Since 2004, ANCC has managed more than 1,000 consulting projects and numerous workshops, teleconferences, and symposia supporting hospital and health systems. Through this extensive experience and constant feedback analysis, ANCC 's Institute for Credentialing Innovation® has refined its consulting services and educational presentations.

- Work with healthcare organizations within the context of cultural, socioeconomic, geographic, and patient demographics that are unique to that organization

- Conduct collegial on-site assessments of nursing services and the organization to determine the strengths and limitations of a nursing service
- Identify opportunities and solutions that may foster change and support an organization in their journey to the achievement of Magnet/Pathway status
- Connect customers to a vast range of ANCC educational resources, products, and services for Magnet, Pathway, certification, and accreditation
Communication
- Effectively communicate with staff from all disciplines and at all levels
- Provide learning forums in a variety of methods to meet individual facility and system needs
- Educate staff about the Magnet Recognition Program® and the Pathway to Excellence® Program; their histories and philosophies, concepts, and criteria; and the application process
Continuing Competence
- Possess professional, academic, and experiential credentials appropriate to the services being requested and provided
- Stay abreast of current practice issues
- Are oriented by and receive ongoing training, education, and updates from ANCC staff
Once a consultant has been identified by the requesting organization, the Institute initiates a contract for signature. After the execution of the contract, a scope of work and the associated timeline is developed and agreed upon by the identified consultant and the requesting organization. In addition to the identified consultant, other ANCC consultants and resources may be utilized under the same contract by executing another scope of work.
